The main objective of LIFE GREEN SEWER is the pilot-scale implementation of a new secondary wastewater treatment, that will be applicable to both municipal and industrial waters, formed by the joint application of innovative and efficient technologies in the resources as well as control processes to monitor and reduce the discharges of pollutants emerging and pathogenic and also to reduce energy consumption and water losses.
LIFE GREEN SEWER is a European Project co-funded by the European Union under the LIFE Programme.
The multidisciplinary project consortium is widely linked to the industrial sector of the water, energy, ICT and environmental and biotechnology sectors.
Leaded by CETIM Technological Centre as Project Coordinator, it is composed by Public Work and Services Corporation COPASA S.A., MAGTEL Operations S.U., Socamex S.A. and Universitat de Barcelona.
